Dolly Spa Cart Delivery System
To
calculate height required around the side of your house
to clear eves, trees etc use the Jetsetter spa as an example:
Jetsetter
(narrow side measurement) 1650mm + height of the cart
200mm = 1850mm total Height on the delivery cart (approximately)
as it depends a little on tyre inflation.
The
width required is the greater of the width of the cart
wheels = 870mm or the spa height; eg Jetsetter 760mm so
the maximum width required to go through gates etc is
872mm (allowing a few mm for movement
The other consideration is the radius of corners. If the
corners are very tight we will often utilise a different
delivery trolley.
Steps and decks are one other obstacle. The cart will
go up a pair of large planks, if you have numerous steps
or a deck to go up to, it is best to arrange a site inspection
with Jason first.
Most people are surprised at the ease with which we can
deliver spas, with virtually no lifting required in most
situations. Other options for 2nd story or very difficult
access is either the use of a hi-ab truck at $120-$150
or a crane (lifting completely over a house) $400 per
hour approximately.
